Four companies have launched new products, each targeted at a different aspect of the employee experience (EX): building connection, offering opportunities for recognition, identifying, and acting on factors that will improve employees’ sense of safety and well-being and improve the performance management experience.
Qualtrics: Qualtrics’ Safe Workplace and Employee Well-Being at Work
Two new solutions from Qualtrics were introduced that focus on helping employees feel physically safe with a positive sense of well-being. An in-house team of organizational psychologists identified the most impactful drivers related to an employee’s sense of workplace safety and well-being, and those are being built into Qualtrics’ EX management platform, Employee XM. “The global pandemic has brought employee safety, health and well-being to the forefront of business priorities, and it can be challenging for leaders to know how to best support their employees,” says Jay Choi, Qualtrics Chief Product Officer, EmployeeXM. “Qualtrics’ safety and well-being solutions offer employers a science-based approach to understanding the evolving needs and expectations of their employees, and making changes that meaningfully improve people’s experiences at work.” Safe Workplace helps employers leverage experience data and employee sentiment around how safe employees feel in their current environment. The Employee Well-Being at Work solution identifies factors such as how positive employees feel about themselves, how energized they are and what level of trust they have in their relationships at work.
Motivosity: New App Helps Colleagues Show Appreciation on the Go
Motivosity, a provider of employee recognition software, launched its new and improved app, which allows employees to send a note of appreciation and view the peer recognition feed via their mobile devices. The mobile app also offers the full capabilities of Motivosity’s Connect, Recognize, and Listen products.
Achievers: Employee Connections
Achievers, a provider of EX solutions, introduced Employee Connections, a product designed to help bridge the gap between job levels and connect with employees they might not normally interact with, either virtually or in person. Says Jeff Cates, CEO of Achievers, “Given that the workplace is one of the most important social systems for individuals after family and friends, organizations must do more to support employees if they want to differentiate their employer brand in this competitive market. With employee attrition at an all-time high and unemployment at a 50 year low, this is a clear sign that companies need to focus more on the employee experience. Combining that with the challenge of creating personal connections in remote environments, there is no better time than now for a product like Employee Connections.” Employee Connections is offered as part of the Achievers Employee Experience Platform and can be a tool to accomplish goals such as reducing turnover, improving onboarding, and encouraging cross-functional interaction across geographies.
15Five: Perform, Performance Management Solution
15Five has launched Perform, a solution that aims to improve the employee experience around performance management. According to 15Five Chief Product Officer, Vincent Huang, “As companies adapt to a new work environment, the performance review needs to evolve and adapt. In addition to helping employees develop in their roles and drive informed decisions for advancement and compensation, the modern HR leader needs a performance review system that saves time to deploy, is flexible to their needs, and embeds seamlessly into their existing solutions.” 15Five is using its own research that identified gaps in how all the stakeholders experience the performance review process and its outcomes, and has created a solution that is easy to use for HR staff, managers and employees. It also helps more open the door to more ongoing, growth-oriented performance conversation.
