Amdocs Wins String of Awards and Industry Recognition

Honors and Awards Received This Year Were in Four Categories

Amdocs, a provider of software and services to communications service providers (CSPs) and media companies, was the recent recipient of various industry awards in technologies and trends that drive innovation and enable next-generation experiences for consumers and enterprises alike.

Amdocs honors and awards this year were in four broad categories: monetization and revenue management; digital transformation and automation, cloud and 5G innovation, and service and network automation.

In monetization and revenue management, Amdocs won the Excellence in Payment/Crypto/Commerce award at the 13th annual Media Excellence Awards, which honor global innovation and leadership in mobile, technology, and entertainment. The International Trade Association for the Broadcast & Media Industry (IABM) gave its IABM BaM award in the monetize category to Amdocs MarketONE, the company’s software as a service (SaaS) business offering for streamlining subscription and user management lifecycles.

In digital transformation and automation, Amdocs took home a Leading Lights 2021 award as Outstanding Digital Enablement Vendor, its second straight win, from telecom industry information company Light Reading.

Another award in digital transformation was from the TM Forum Excellence Awards in the CX and Trust category, which cited the marked improvement of digital operations at Airtel, India’s largest telecom service provider, and the reduction of customer frustration to near-zero levels after Amdocs introduced artificial intelligence (AI)-driven automated operations.

In cloud and 5G innovation, Amdocs was a 2021 Global Amazon Web Services (AWS) Partner Network (APN) Public Sector Partner Award winner for its Customer Experience Suite, a set of solutions for service providers to monetize advanced services by leveraging investment in technologies like 5G, AI and machine learning (ML), and multi-access edge computing (MEC). The award recognizes leaders that play a key role in helping customers drive innovation and build solutions using AWS cloud technology.

Amdocs was also formally recognized as the industry leader in cloud technology innovation at Total Telecom’s Asia Communication Awards by winning the Cloud Technology Initiative award for its Microservices360 (MS360) platform, a carrier-grade microservices cloud development platform. The same awards body also saw Amdocs winning in the 5G Technology Initiative category for its Monetization Suite, the company’s monetization products for digital domains like the Internet of Things (IoT), media, gaming, and the enterprise.

Finally, in the category of service and network automation, Amdocs was the Most Innovative Hybrid Networking Strategy winner, its second Leading Lights award from Light Reading. A multinational corporation founded in 1982 in Israel and currently headquartered in Chesterfield, Missouri, Amdocs specializes in software and services for digital enterprises and for communications, media, and financial services providers. The company’s offerings include business support systems (BSS), operational support systems (OSS), open network solutions, IoT, Big Data analytics, and entertainment and media solutions.
